Originally part of the Otero cattle ranch, Elkhorn is now a guest ranch offering unexcelled horseback riding and comfortable living for around thirty-two guests. The third generation of the Miller family and their crew provide the care you need to enjoy friendship, rest, quiet and adventure around the ranch and on miles of mountain and desert trails.

| Rates: | The rate includes horseback riding and all living expenses with the exception of personal laundry. The 2009-2010 season rate (per person for single or double cabin) is $1306 per week or $258 per night, plus local tax and 15% gratuity. Lower rates are available for longer stays and additional people in the same cabin. |

| Lodging: | Elkhorn provides comfortable spaces for singles, couples, or families. Cabins are equipped with private baths, electric heat and good reading lights. Some have separate sitting rooms or fireplaces - no television or phones in the rooms. Accommodations are scattered throughout the mesquite to provide privacy and seclusion for rest, sunning on chaise lounges, writing, reading or socializing with friends or family. You'll find a bird feeder outside your door and as much birdseed as you care to feed. You will be delighted by the variety of birds and other wildlife. |

| Food/Dining: | Home cooked meals are served buffet style at the Long House three times a day and you can order hot breakfast of your choice for a healthy start. Meals are well-balanced, nutritiously prepared and the variety appeals to most appetites. A picnic lunch cooked over an open fire on the desert is a weekly treat. |
